Marchin' On

So... my February was a bit of a roller coaster ride. O.o Between deadlines from uni and exams and stuff happening, it was all quite crazy and incredibly busy. BUT. I'm back. Last week I spent in England with my dear writing sister, Bec, and it was fabulous! We had a mini road trip. We saw Stonehenge and went to Brighton (OMG, the Royal Pavillion is AMAZING). We ate way too many Costa Coffee triple chocolate muffins and traumatised her boyfriend with our random fits of giggles. On Saturday, we had a #geekydayinlondon with @LizUK and @kazmahoney. Which was awesome. Meeting fellow writers is always such an inspiration. I also bought a lot of books. They forced me to buy a lot of books. Honest. It's not my fault. Uhm...

Proof of my crazy book buying spree.

Anyway... I'm in the middle of my spring break. No uni for three more weeks, before the craziness begins again. Which means... loads of writing and revising time. I hope to get a lot of stuff done in those weeks. Get my revised draft of my mermaid novel critiqued and punch it into shape so I can... QUERY IT. I'm nervously excited about this. I'm sure I'll find a way to talk myself out of it again, so everyone who hears me do that has my full permission to slap me.... virtually.

Me in front of Stonehenge! Squeee.

Stuff to come this month: A post about new book covers I'm excited about, an excerpt from something I'm working on and... maybe a giveaway? :-o

Happy March, everyone!

Yes! It's very impressive. It looks quite small from that angle, but it isn't, really. *gg*

Heee, yes. More wanted to be taken in, but I managed to have SOME self restraint.
