Three For Tuesday

1. NaNo is going so-so. I am writing daily, but not as much as I'd like. I hope that on the weekend I will be able to catch up, but at the moment I just get home from uni so exhausted, that I can't get that many more words out anymore. I think I'm coming down with a cold of some kind. BE GONE, evil! *chases after it with vitamins*

2. November doesn't only mean NaNoWriMo, it also means the release month of Matched by Ally Condie. I've only heard good things about this book and I've been looking forward to it what seems like FOREVER. So I can't wait to read it once it's released on November 30th. If you're at all into the dystopian genre, I think it's a must have. As usual, click the picture to go to Goodreads for more info.

3. The 7th Dear Lucky Agent Contest: Young Adult is currently happening here. You can enter the first 150-200 words of your finished YA manuscript until tomorrow. The judge is Tamar Rydzinski of the Laura Dail Literary Agency and in case you win, you will receive a critique of the first 10 pages of your work by the agent judge AND a free one-year subscription to WritersMarket.com. So what are you waiting for? Go enter!

A write-up of my London adventures (including the most useless superhero power known to man) will come soon, I promise!

Liz here procrastinating on Nanowrimoing - Matched sounds a lot like an awesome movie I watched a few months ago called "Timer." It's about a world where you can get a watch-like device implanted on your body that counts down to the time you will meet your perfect match. The only problem is that the MC's timer never starts counting down, and she embarks on the quest to find true love without it. You should check it out! The ending didn't satisfy me, but the movie was overall funny in a quirky indie way.

Erica - We can do crazy writing sessions over the weekend. *g*

Liz - Oooh, a friend of mine mentioned it before, I think. That sounds really good. I definitely need to check that one out. Thanks! :D
