2011 YA Debut Author Challenge

2011 is nearly here! (What a scary thought, it feels like 2010 just started. Eek!) Which means that it's almost time for the 2011 Debut Author Challenge hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. What is this challenge, you ask? By signing up, you vow to read at least twelve Young Adult or Middle Grade books by authors making their debut in 2011. I didn't participate in 2010, mostly because I only found out about it in summer and didn't want to jump in so late. But this time I'm participating!

For more information go here, and if you want to sign up yourself, go here.

As for the books I will be reading (sorted by release date):

A widget with clickable links in the sidebar ------>

1. Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
2. XVI by Julia Karr
3. Across The Universe by Beth Revis
4. Other Words For Love by Lorraine Zago Rosenthal
5. Vesper by Jeff Sampson

6. The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney
7. Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton

8. Clarity by Kim Harrington
9. Wither by Lauren DeStefano
10. Entwined by Heather Dixon

11. Memento Nora by Angie Smibert

12. Divergent by Veronica Roth
13. Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs
14. Awaken by Katie Kacyinsky

15. Possession by Elana Johnson

16. Wildefire by Karsten Knight

17. The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab

I'm almost sure there will be more, but these are the ones I will definitely read. :D

What a neat idea! I hadn't heard of it before, but sounds like a fun way to discover new authors :)

How's Rena coming along? I'm having withdrawal:D

Yeeeeeees. :D You should try it!

And uhm... I'm nearly finished, but the last part is VERY rough. And I have a million and one revisions to do to fix some gaping plot holes. I promise once the November craziness is over, I'll fix the withdrawals. ;-)

Hee, thanks for stopping by, Elana. :D I love the cover and the 'control or be controlled' tag line.
